Experimental study on seismic performance of precast concrete frame with replaceable energy-dissipating connectors

•Newly developed replaceable dissipater is used for excellent hysteretic behavior.•A rapid post-earthquake repairing is achieved by replacing the damaged dissipaters.•No serious damage is observed in concrete members after multiple quasi-static tests.•Precast connections work well with after multiple replacement of dissipaters.
