摘要

•Sol-gel synthesis of Co:ZnO as diluted magnetic oxide (DMO) nanoparticles (NPs).•The synthesized Co:ZnO NPs were treated by oleic acid (OA).•PANI nanocomposites (NCs) fabricated with loading by as-synthesized and treated NPs.•PANI-NCs based on DMO-NPs exhibited room temperature ferromagnetic behaviour.•The treatment of Co:ZnO by OA was reflected on the physical properties of PANI-NCs.
