Effects of long-term right ventricular apex pacing on left ventricular dyssynchrony, morphology and systolic function

•We have compared long-term changes of RVA pacing lead parameters as well as LV asynchrony, morphology and function difference between RVA pacing and healthy people at follow-up.•Furthermore, we have identified the predictors for decline of LVEF at follow-up.•To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study evaluation the comprehensive information of RVA pacing at 10 years follow-up, especially comparing with healthy people.
