Computation of Magnetic-Field-Induced Flow for Targeting

摘要
In magnetically targeted drug delivery system, an external magnetic field on superparamagnetic nanoparticles is combined with molecules of drugs. In this study, a magnetic field was generated using one permanent magnet. The viscous incompressible Navier-Stokes equations were considered for blood flow. The magnetic vector potentials were simulated by Taguchi method and COMSOL Multiphysics. Modeling of the magnetic vector potential was implemented by stepwise regression analysis. Optimization problem of the magnetic vector potential was solved by the genetic algorithm.
