摘要

•Evolution of real-space magnetic domain in LuFe2O4 up to 16 T was investigated.•Magnetization jump is change of order degree of domain, not order destruction.•Change of magnetic entropy and magnetoelastic behavior occur at magnetization jump.•AFM interactions drive movement of oxygen resulting in lattice distortion and flop.
