A Hybrid System combining SWIPT and Backscatter Techniques

摘要
With the emergence of more and more wireless devices, and having in mind the concerns about batteries use and replacement, it becomes important to think about new ways to supply and communicate with these devices. While simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) tries to solve the problem in one direction, central unit to node, backscatter techniques explore the node to central unit direction. In this paper, it is proposed a hybrid system combining both techniques to create a rechargeable and an adjustable wireless sensor network based on different schemes of backscatter communication.
