摘要

•Enhanced modulation characteristics of developed WCSPR-EO modulator utilizing Sr0.75Ba0.25Nb2O6 thin film.•Modulation index of 41.73% with a resolution of 0.59RIU-1 was obtained.•Sensitivity of 47.5° for SBN75 WCSPR-EO modulator in comparison to SBN60 (45.9°).•FOM of modulator got enhanced by twice by utilizing SBN75 thin film.
