Synthesis, crystal structure, aggregation-induced emission enhancement and electroluminescence properties of a novel compound containing carbazole and triarylborane groups

摘要
•The compound (DB-BCZ) based on carbazole as donor groups and triarylborane as accept group was synthesized and characterized;•The compound exhibits aggregation-induced emission enhancement (AIEE) property;•The single crystal structure of the compound presents a twisted propeller-type configuration;•The packing structure of crystal has multiple types of hydrogen bonds between adjacent molecules;•Efficient multilayer non-doped electroluminescence device fabricated with DB-BCZ shows bluish violet emission and good electroluminescence performance.
