Typical measurement technologies are coordinate measuring technology, structured-light 3D scanner and Computed Tomography (CT) scans. In this paper, an innovative measurement and analysis strategy for the statistical comparison of the mentioned technologies is developed. Furthermore, the measurement result can be proved with regard to the plausibility and sensitivity. This strategy can be used not only for the intern company purposes but also for the adjustment and harmonization of product and production improvement activities and corrective actions between original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers. Plausibility checks of the gathered measurement results can he facilitated also in case of different applied technologies.
