Contributions of UFABC Biomedical Engineering in the fight against COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic imposed enormous challenges on humanity and different sectors of society have responded according to their possibilities and areas of activity. The undergraduate and graduate courses in Biomedical Engineering at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) have a teaching staff and students working in research and technology development in various areas of health sector, which gives it scientific, technological and social responsibility in preventing the advance of this pandemic. This article reports the contributions of UFABC Biomedical Engineering against COVID-19, especially in the ABC metropolitan region during the first two months of social isolation in the State of Sao Paulo.
