Analysis an Electronic Health Record based on Hedonic and Pragmatic Aspect of the User Experience.

Technologies have been used as a way to improve electronic health records (EHR). Systems that involve the opinion of potential users in design phase have more efficiency, acceptance, and satisfaction of the users. The objective of this paper is to analyze the degree of user satisfaction in the use of an EHR for gestational telemonitoring through usability questionnaire, Attrakdiff. Eight users were selected for the evaluation of EHR. Users agreed that the EHR was task oriented, attractive and very technical, but at the same time simple. The EHR was considered inventive, creative, very good, pleasant and captivating. However, it was not very innovative. The overall evaluation of the system indicated users\u0027 satisfaction. Therefore, focusing on the needs and emotions of the user while interacting with a product is a key factor for the success of the software product. When a product meets or exceeds user expectations, it provides a positive experience.
