摘要

•We characterized photoparoxysmal response (PPR) in a SCORE database of 10,671 EEG recordings.•Using standardized intermittent photic stimulation protocol and definitions, the prevalence of PPR was 4%.•The most common PPR type was activation of preexisting epileptogenic area.
