EBIT: Weakly-supervised image translation with edge and boundary enhancement.

•Object boundaries cannot be well defined during image translation.•A Canny operator is proposed to strengthen the edge features of the thermal images.•Silhouette masks are proposed to define the correct object boundaries in thermal images.•We propose a pixel-wise adversarial loss in weakly-supervised manner.•The proposed method keeps the output style consistent with the ground truth images.
