Synthesis, characterization, biological activity and molecular docking studies of novel schiff bases derived from thiosemicarbazide: Biochemical and computational approach

•Novel schiff bases derivatives of thiosemicarbazide were synthesized.•We investigated inhibition effects of these compounds some metabolic enzymes.•Most active compounds were docked into the catalytic active site of the enzymes.
