摘要
The emissions inventories are fundamental tools of great importance in the management and research on air pollution, climate change, and other relevant areas of knowledge. Emission inventories have been evolved in their diversity, including all pollutants such as criteria, toxics, short-lived climate pollutants, and, more recently, greenhouse gases and compounds. Currently, due to the importance of reducing emissions, the integration of inventories has become a challenge, including the spatial and temporal part of emissions to be used by the air quality modeling applications. This work contributes to establishing a basis to transfer and use the current point source emissions inventory to Google Earth, based on a structure of labels developed by the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. (EPA). The results are compatible with any Geographic Information System(GIS) platform, with possibilities of adding applications in the Hysplit-NOAA model whose outputs also can be displayed on Google Earth. Additionally, data can be visualized on any computer platform and mobile applications.
