摘要
Introduction: Propofol total intravenous anesthesia reduces cerebral blood flow (CBF) while maintaining cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) to carbon dioxide (CO2). This is desirable when intracranial pressure is increased. We hypothesized that alfaxalone would behave similarly to propofol, while isoflurane would increase CBF and decrease CVR-CO2.
