摘要

•Mechanofluorochromism (MFC) is reported for pyrenyl acrylates.•The C-1- and C-4-alkenylated pyrenes exhibited hypsochromic and bathochromic MFC.•Bulky groups in 2,7-position reduced the molecular rearrangement after grinding.•MFC of pyrene-derived acrylates is discussed based on emission spectra and decay times.
