Nanocomposite phosphor materials fabricated by solid-state reaction for optoelectronics application

In this work, we have proposed a combination of sol-gel method and high temperature solid-state reactions to synthesize Ga
3+
and Eu
3+
co-doped to ZnMoO
4
red-emitting phosphor which belongs to nanocomposites phosphor materials. The effect of different calcination temperatures on the luminescence properties of Ga
3+
and Eu
3+
co-doped to ZnMoO
4
red-emitting phosphor material has been investigated. The results indicate that the optimal calcination temperature is 700 and the best internal quantum efficiency and electronic lifetime measured as 72 % and 592 μs, respectively.
