摘要
Noninvasive imaging is a widely available and efficient modality to obtain critical information in the setting of pediatric cardiomyopathy. Morphologic information and objective measurements essential for diagnosis can be acquired and these same data are helpful for risk stratification and treatment selection. Serial imaging can then be employed for monitoring response. The information gathered via imaging provides the groundwork for conversations regarding prognosis, disease severity, and management. In this article, we performed a review of the current literature for noninvasive imaging and its role in pediatric cardiomyopathy.
