摘要
•HPLC analysis revealed the presence of potent polyphenolics in ramontchi.•Polyphenolics in ramontchi impede cardiac damages in Long-Evans rats.•Ramontchi normalized expressions of antioxidant genes i.e., Nrf-2, HO-1, HO-2, GPx, SOD and CAT.•Ramontchi suppressed the expressions of inflammatory mediators i.e., IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, TGF-β1, iNOS and NF-κB.•Ramontchi diminished the level of oxidative stress in isoprenaline-induced rats.
