摘要
To evaluate efficacy of newer insecticides against Diamond Back Moth, Plutella xylostella (L.) in Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. Capitata) a field experiment was conducted in two consecutive crop season i.e. 2017-18 and 2018-19 at research field of College of Agriculture, Ganjbasoda. All the recommended agronomical practices were followed properly in the experimental plots to ensure the proper growth of the crop. The data revealed that all the treatments under investigation were observed to be significantly superior over untreated control in reducing the population of P. xylostella . The IKI-3106 100DC @ 350, 300, 250 and 200 ml/ ha were found effective for reducing the population of P. xylostella . The maximum reduction in population of P. xylostella over untreated control was recorded in IKI-3106 100DC @ 350 ml/ ha i.e. 83.51% which was followed by IKI-3106 100DC @ 300 ml/ ha (81.24%), IKI-3106 100DC @ 250 ml/ ha (79.34%) and IKI-3106 100DC @ 200 ml/ ha (77.14%). Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 50ml/ ha was also effective to checking the population of DBM it reducing the 77.81% population of DBM. The maximum percent increase in yield was recorded in IKI-3106 100DC @ 350 ml/ ha treated plots 45.27% which was followed by IKI-3106 100DC @ 300 ml/ ha (42.08%), IKI-3106 100DC @ 250 ml/ ha (38.84%) respectively. The results suggested that, the two sprays of IKI-3106 100DC at ETL are the effective and safe in controlling cabbage diamondback moth. It novel mode of action makes a valuable option for vegetable integrated pest management.
