摘要
A hospital-based case-control study was conducted to investigate the association of prepregnancy body mass index (PPBMI) and gestational weight gain (GWG) with preeclampsia. Individuals with a high PPBMI (body mass index >= 23.0 kg/m(2)) and an excessive GWG had a 3.28-fold (95% confidence interval: 1.04-10.4) and 3.79-fold (95% confidence interval: 1.05-13.61) increased risk of preeclampsia, respectively, after adjustment for age, hypertension history, and GWG/PPBMI.
