Research on Cryocooled Programmable Josephson Voltage Standard at NIM

This paper demonstrated a domestic liquid helium free dc programmable Josephson voltage standard (PJVS) operating on a cryocooler. Critical current and margin measurement results of a NIST-fabricated two volt Programmable Josephson junction array (PJJA) are presented. The chip was shown to operate successfully in the cryopakage and the system was able to perform calibration of a 1.018 volt Zener reference.
