We report the first high-resolution spectroscopy study of radiocarbon methane, (CH4)-C-14. Several absorption lines of the fundamental vibrational band nu(3) were measured using a continuous-wave mid-infrared optical parametric oscillator with cantilever-enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy.
