Harmonic Signals Analysis of Planar Hall Resistance Sensor

We analyzed the magnetic field dependence of 0th, 1st and 2nd order harmonic signals (V-0f0, V-1f0 and V-2f0) measured in planner Hall resistance (PHR) sensor. The magnetic field dependence of V-1f0 showed the typical PHR signal properties with high sensitivity and linearity near H = 0. While, the magnetic field dependence of V-0f0 (= root 2 V-2f0) and V-2f0 showed same as the derivative of the magnetic field dependence of V-1f0, and were very sensitively response to the magnetic film on PHR sensor.
