Hormone receptor positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 negative (HR+/HER2-) is generally associated with a more favorable outcome in breast cancer, where age may play roles in the prognosis of invasive breast cancer. Earlier studies have found that the effect of age on the outcomes varied by tumor subtypes.
