Structural diversity and luminescence sensing of cadmium coordination polymers derived from 5-(bis(4-carboxybenzyl)amino) isophthalic acid

Four cadmium complexes with flexible polycarboxylic acid ligands have been synthesized. The bidentate auxiliary ligands with different lengths and flexibility play an important role to affect their final structures. The luminescent sensing of compounds 1 and 4 toward nitrobenzene has also been investigated.
