摘要
•The Ordovician sedimentary succession in the Yangtze Block was developed in a passive continental margin basin.•The succession was sourced from the Jiangnan and Wuyi-Yunkai Orogens as well as NE Gondwana.•There were changes of basinal provenances with time during the Early Paleozoic.•The configuration of the basin changed with sequential uplift of source areas during the Early Paleozoic.
