Several Novel Aggregation Functions for PHFS and Their Application to MCGDM

Proportional hesitant fuzzy set (PHFS) is characterized with several membership degrees and their affiliated proportions. It is a well-established extension of the classic notion of hesitant fuzzy set (HFS). This paper aims at developing proportional hesitant fuzzy weighted averaging (PHFWA) operator and its generalized form (the GPHFWA operator), and applying the GPHFWA operator to establish a multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) model to address the collective decision-making problem given that the representation information is HFS-based inputs. Eventually, a case study is conducted to illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the established MCGDM method.
