Aerosol regional deposition of electronic cigarette emissions using an original ex vivo respiratory model

•Particle size distribution was not affected by the radiolabelling of the refill liquid.•Regional aerosol deposition of radioaerosol with an ex vivo respiratory model.•Deposition of 91 ± 4% in the thoracic region and of 9 ± 4% in extra-thoracic region.•Deposition coherent with literature using determinist computational model and experimental data.
