摘要

•Gradient structure was formed in friction stir processed Cu-Zr laminate.•Nanocrystalline structure with mixed pure Cu and Zr formed in the bottom of SZ.•Strain induced amorphorization was confirmed on top of the processed laminate.•No intermetallic compound was detected in the entire stir zone.
