摘要

•Metal co-doped Ni-Zn spinel ferrite is prepared from toxic solid waste ZEAFD.•Solid calcination and dilute HAc washing are adopted to obtain the ferrite.•Toxicity assessment and purification of the ferrite are realized via TCLP process.•Green and pure phase Ni-Zn spinel ferrite exhibits excellent magnetic performances.
