Effects of SiO2/Al2O3 ratio, reaction atmosphere and metal additive on de-NOx performance of HC-SCR over Cu-based ZSM-5

•2Cu(2 wt.%)-ZSM-5 catalysts with various SiO2/Al2O3 ratio were prepared.•2Cu/ZSM-5 with 90 of SiO2/Al3O3 exhibited broad temperature window for NOx reduction.•CO and H2 induced a negative effect on de-NOx performance over 2Cu/ZSM-5.•2Cu1Sn/ZSM-5 improved low-temperature HC-SCR in H2-CO-C3H6-SCR process.
