摘要
The oceans regulate our weather and climate from global to regional scales. The prediction of the consequences of Climate Change is based on a detailed diagnosis of its evolution and the identification of its strongest tendencies. It is of special importance to obtain local data, since the manifestations of climatic anomalies depend on the geographical area. Furthermore, islands are especially vulnerable to climate change, reason why this work have a focus on the Canary Islands. The main objective encompasses a multi-temporal study, based on data from various remote sensing sensors to obtain and interpret environmental variables related to Global Change. Specifically, this study focuses on finding the correlation between oceanic and atmospheric parameters (chlorophyll, sea surface temperature, aerosols and wind) occurred in 2003-2017.
