摘要

•Two novel bifunctional O-glycosylated peptide tags (GMOP and mGMOP) were developed.•GMOP and mGMOP improved the pharmacokinetic properties and stability of hIFN-α2b.•GMOP and mGMOP behaved as affinity tags to detect, quantify and purify tagged biotherapeutics.•GMOP and mGMOP are potential bifunctional platforms that could improve next-generation biotherapeutics.
