Tips and tricks in uniportal anterior segmentectomy (S3) of the right upper lobe

The uniportal VATS technique for pulmonary lobectomies and straightforward segmentectomies has been adopted worldwide, making significant advances in recent years. Since the first reported case, major lung resections through uniportal VATS have been performed in many countries. However, certain segmentectomies are considered more complex and are not that often performed. This article aims to present our approach to the S3 segmentectomy of the right upper lobe.
