Interface Reduction for Multirate ODE-Solver

摘要
For systems of ordinary differential equations, where the components exhibit a largely differing dynamic behaviour, multirate methods exploit this structure to gain computational efficiency. A model order reduction applied to a single subsystem keeps the dimension in the coupling unchanged. In the case of stiff subsystems, where Jacobians are needed, the computational effort remains high. The here presented interface reduction approach is a promising way to turn the reduced dimension into an improved efficiency for multirate time domain simulation.
