摘要
A retrospective observational follow-up study in order to analyse the relationship between antiretroviral therapy (ART), risk factors for cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular risk (CVR) in HIV patients older than 50 years was developed. Variables were obtained through medical history review and CVR was estimated by Framingham, SCORE, PROCAM and REGICOR scales. 46 patients were included, mean age 58.76 +/- 7.04 years. 63% of patients had a CD4 count > 500 cells/mm(3) and 91.7%, undetectable viral load. 43.5% had hypertension and 41.30% smoke. Lipid fractions means were abnormal. Although mean blood pressure were normal, some patients with antihypertensive therapy had high readings. More than 60% of patients had moderate/high CVR according to the scales utilized. An association was found between CVR and hypertension, antihypertensive treatment and higher systolic blood pressure. The high prevalence of comorbidities associated with CVR with ineffectiveness pharmacological control is the main factor risk to cardiovascular disease.
