摘要

•Mortality rate due to breast cancer reached 3.23% at 12 months in Algeria.•22 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants were identified over 8 months.•Late diagnosis is one of the risks compromising the prognosis of women with a diagnosis of breast cancer where preventive screening measures must be optimised.
