Chemical characterisation of active pharmaceutical compounds can be challenging, especially when these molecules exhibit tautomeric or desmotropic behaviour. The complexity can increase manyfold if these molecules are not susceptible to crystallisation. Solid-state NMR has been employed effectively for characterising such molecules.
