摘要

•NKX3.1 is a useful marker for mesenchymal chondrosarcoma.•Till date, other than mesenchymal chondrosarcomas, NKX3.1 immunoreactivity is only seen in EWSR1-NFATC2 sarcomas.•It is a useful immunohistochemical marker to differentiate mesenchymal chondrosarcomas from other round blue cell tumors.
