Bilayers of YDyBCO+Dy211/ YDyBCO for high performance coated conductors derived by metallorganic solution deposition

In this work, Y1Dy0.5Ba2Cu3O7-delta (YDyBCO) + x% Dy2Ba1Cu1( Dy211)/ Y1Dy0.5Ba2Cu3O7-delta (x = 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) coated conductors with a film thickness about 1 mu m were fabricated on buffered Hastelloy substrates by so-called super low fluorine metal organic deposition method. The effect of Dy211 on the bilayered doping on the texture, self field current density, critical temperature and flux pinning properties of YDyBCO films were investigated. With optimal Dy211 doping equal to 6 mol%, the properties of the resultant films are significantly enhanced.
