Valence band structure and oxygen reduction reaction of Cu doped PrBaCo2O5+δ

摘要
•Cu doped PrBaCo2O5+δ (PBCCu) electrocatalyst was synthesized through ECCP method.•The valence state of Co4+ and Co2+ ions were changed to Co3+ and the valence band maximum increased with Cu doping.•The Cu doping upon PrBaCo2O5+δ generated oxygen vacancies in the lattice and reduced the polarization resistance.
