摘要
A research and business system to monitor dust storms globally by new generation meteorological satellites named Fengyun series has been built. The system uses FY-2D/2E geostationary satellite, FY-3A polar orbit satellite data, SEVIRI/MSG-2, MODIS data as a data input. Combined with the satellite sensor channels and the time sampling features, sandstorm parameters of auto identification and quantitative inversion algorithm has been designed. The system is developped based on the latest ArcGIS 9.3 FLEX technology. It can provide faster dynamic map services and geographic factors such as the display and other functions, and is designed to provide the best WebGIS end user experience anytime, anywhere. We believe that with the completion of system development and improvement of function, the system will greatly enhance the ability of remote sensing duststrom disaster monitoring to public service.
