摘要
'CL111' (Reg. No. CV-142; PI 658538), a Clearfield (BASF, Ludwigshafen, Germany) long-grain rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivar, was developed by the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center at the Rice Research Station near Crowley, LA, and approved for release by the Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station in 2008. CL111 was derived from the cross 9502008-A/'Drew'/3/CFX-29//AR 1142/LA 2031 that was made in 2003 at the Rice Research Station. CL111 originated in 2006 as a selected F 2: 3 line based on agronomic characteristics. Testing in the Clearfield preliminary yield trials in 2007 indicated high yield potential and favorable agronomic characteristics. In 2010 and 2011, CL111 was tested in 39 statewide yield trials, along with two high-yielding, Clearfield check cultivars, 'CL151' and 'CL152'. Grain yield of CL111 was 8.7 Mg ha(-1) compared with 9.5 and 8.5 Mg ha(-1) for CL151 and CL152, respectively. Plant height for CL111 was 96 cm compared with 97 cm for both CL151 and CL152. CL111 reached 50% heading in 78 d, whereas CL151 and CL152 both reached 50% heading in 84 d. CL111 has a semierect flag leaf, and the leaves are dark green with an intermediate leaf angle. The lemma and palea are straw-colored and glabrous, and the apiculus, light purple at heading, is colorless as the grain approaches harvest maturity. CL111 is susceptible to sheath blight and moderately susceptible to blast and straighthead disorder.
