First person - Etienne Boulter

First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Etienne Boulter is first author on 'Cyclic uniaxial mechanical stretching of cells using a LEGO (R) parts-based mechanical stretcher system', published in JCS. Etienne is a Research Associate in the lab of Chloe Feral at the Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging (IRCAN), Nice, where he has a long-lasting interest in the study of cell adhesion and related signaling processes, which currently focuses on mechanical signaling.
