Study of the Heavy Direct Current Indirect Measurement and Calculation Based On the Waveform Measuring Of Valve Currents

In order to solve the problem of accurate heavy direct current (DC) measurement in the high-power industry rectifier system, a new heavy direct current measuring method based on the waveform measuring of valve currents is presented in this paper. According to the conventional measuring method and related problems, the corresponding relationship between the valve side and DC side currents are established and analyzed by the transformer electromagnetic coupling model and classic analytic calculation approach. A detailed measuring scheme is then presented from the waveform measuring of valve currents to direct current measurement and calculation. Lastly, the simulation and testing results are used to show the correctness and feasibility of the new method, and it is hoped to solve the problem of power supply equipment and system efficiency accounting and provide data for energy saving.
