Fast Fragmentation During Surface-Induced Dissociation: An Examination of Peptide Size and Structure
Chemical Physics Letters(2020)
摘要
•Fast Fragmentation Events (FFE) decrease with peptide size.•FFE decrease may explain why shattering is infrequent in experiment.•KAn (n = 1,3,5)/AcKA7 favors a-ion formation during FFE.•AnK (n = 1,3,5)/AcA7K favors a-ion for small n and x-ion for large n.•Backbone rearrangements from FFE retain both N/C-termi, but lose atoms in the middle.
