摘要
•A novel digital prolate spheroidal window-based S-transform is proposed for time-varying harmonic analysis.•The prolate spheroidal window is used as the kernel function of digital prolate spheroidal window-based S-transform (DPSWST).•The time-frequency analysis (TFA) capacity of DPSWST is compared with other TFA methods.•Hardware implementation of the DPSWST is constructed to validate its performance.
