摘要

•Catenoidal Aluminum micropost array was developed for enhancing evaporation heat transfer.•The superhydrophilic catenoidal aluminum wick effectively stretched the thin evaporative film area.•The developed wick provided ~2 times higher heat transfer coefficient compared to cylindrical one.
